    Tucked away in the bulletins at church today were fliers calling all Cub fans. If you haven't heard, Salem Chapel's going to Wrigley Field for a Cub/Astros baseball game. The game is Monday, August 31st, and is $55.00 per person. That includes the $28 ticket and the charge for a motor coach ride straight to the field. We'll all leave the church at 4:15 p.m. (central time) and get picked up by the motor coach at the Hammond Woodmar UMC parking lot at 5:30. $27 is due August 10 to Pastor Bob. If you're interested, talk to him by August 9th and he'll hook you up with more details.

    I'm actually a big Cardinal fan, so if the Cubs are still in second place to them by August 31st, I'll be rooting for the 'Stros. Sorry, guys.

    Clay and Mike are going. I''m not a huge baseball fan. I know they will have fun though.
